Status Reports
For monitoring purposes, MailArchiva includes the ability to generate and email a status report at regular intervals. The status report includes information such as the status of volumes, available disk space, last known errors/alerts and various statistics.
In addition to sending status reports at defined intervals, the system is capable of sending alerts as soon as they occur. For instance, assuming alerts are enabled, if the server is about to run out of disk space, the administrator will be notified immediately.
Prerequisites
The status report and alert features require that an SMTP client connection is created in Configuration->Client Connections. Furthermore, the newly created SMTP connection is selected in the default client SMTP client section of Configuration->General.
