BSD Install

Step 1. Download MailArchiva Server

Download MailArchiva Server for Linux and bsd_install_scripts.zip.

Step 2 Run the Installer

From the console, execute the following:

tar -xzvf mailarchiva_dist.tar.gz
cd mailarchiva_dist
unzip ../bsd_install_scripts.zip
./install

MailArchiva will be installed /opt/mailarchiva

Step 4. Start the server

Run the start script as follows:

/usr/local/etc/rc.d/mailarchiva3 start

For future reference, to stop run the following script:

/usr/local/etc/rc.d/mailarchiva3 stop
